I really loved this place, shame to see it go D,: When we went here, the burgers were mmm.mmm.mmm.mmm..mmmmmmm... YUMMY!!! The selection, was spectacular (you could order ALLIGATOR MEAT yes, you heard me right, ALLIGATOR MEAT!!!) The burgers, I ordered a normal beef burger, I know this from past experiences, the patties were actually hand-made, not pre-formed like most places. You could easily tell that this burger was used on a real, yes, real, charcoal grill. The burger was real juicy on the inside and crispy to a nice amount on the inside. The buns, I think that they came from one of the local bakery shops :) (yes, they were, actually, this good) The fries, if only i had a 2nd stomach.. then, i might be able to finish some of the best things on earth. I have no clue how this place got mixed reviews and that ultimately lead to its downfall (such a shame, such a shame D,:) All i can say to those people is, please, please, for the love of g-d, get yourself new taste buds.. This place was amazing :D!!!

I remember when this place was an old service station. They were creative turning it in to a burger joint. You can build your own burger by filling out dots on a sheet (kind of like school tests back in the day). My wife wanted a mudslide, buy they brought out a white russian instead. When they went back to remake it, the machine was broken. They ran out of Stella for me, so I went with a Guinness instead.

THIS PLACE WAS AWESOME!! From other reviews, maybe we just a caught a good day? But it was crowded when we were there, at 2pm, not exactly prime pub time on a Sunday. The burgers were really, really, really good-- juicy, charcoal-grilled-- crispy on outside, juicy on inside; buns were very high quality- crispy crusted, good chew, nice yeasty flavor; mine came with tasty, zippy blue cheese, and rich, salty bacon; my spouse and kid got their own variation. I got sweet potato fries-- crispy, sweet, thin-cut, spot-on-good! Regular fries, chips very good as well (wife got fries, kid got chips, I tried all!) Stuck with Yuengling drafts- 3.50 for 16oz, not a bad deal at all. Total bill for all- 40 bucks. For a high-quality burger meal, and 3 beers (2 for me, none for the kid!). I see one flaw-- you pick your own burger- variations are amazing. Even meats-- you can get alligator!!! But-- PEOPLE ARE STUPID. Someone's going to order a crab-meat and fois-gras topped lamb burger with avocado, 5 cheeses, extra mayo hot sauce, and peanut butter (all possible here!), and complain it's expensive and it was nasty. Go figure. I make a good home burger-- I'd put my charbroiled prime Angus beef (Thank you, Wegman's!!) hand-formed patty against theirs-- but I can't match that roll!! And NO ONE has ever topped my home burger-- until now. Just barely. But they did. For those that had a bad time here- that stinks!! Because we're picky, and we LOVED IT!!!!! Hope it's still here next year when we come back!! WISH THEY WOULD FRANCHISE TO BALTIMORE 'BURBS!!! (we don't shoot people at nearly the rate the do in Baltimore City proper!!!)

Paddy's O's was outrageously good! Absolutley the best burger I've had in Florida, or anywhere for that matter! They have an amazing build your own burger menu which lets your imagination run wild and an excellent beer and cocktail offering if you wanna quench your thirst with an adult beverage as well. I can't forget to mention the huge projection screen and dozen HD Flat Screen TV's seemingly everywhere your eye wants to be, since it was March Madness, Paddy's seemed like the perfect custom burger, catch a game, down a pint a Guiness spot all the while listening to authentic Irish Pub Music and being served by super friendly and eager waitresses, young enough to be my daughters but whily enough to make me feel like a spry young lad me self! I Highly Recommend: Paddy O' Sullivan's!

I was a little nervous about this place because I had heard (and read) mixed reviews but I decided to give it a try anyway. It actually was very good! The burger was fresh and tasty and the restaurant seemed clean and inviting. There were really only 2 small problems: our waiter seemed stoned and had to ask several times for us to repeat our order; and there's really nothing Irish about the place except the name and a few shamrocks for decor. I was a little confused as to why they're pushing the Irish theme when it's really just a burger joint. I don't believe there are any Irish meals on the menu. But I enjoyed the experience all the same.

Not so good. None of the staff seemed very energetic or inspired. TV's were all European sports but not a very pub like ambiance. My fish n chips was a fish sandwich with fries and the batter had kind of a bitter taste. Ordered a Bud light and got a can and a glass. This corner will have a new name by football season.

Good burgers, good fries. Tremendous assortment and variety of topping. Ordered their draft lager, waitress (very green but nice) said its past blueribbon instead. Also check was wrong. Still, will probably try again. Wife liked the sweet potato fries and lettuce wrap instead of bun. My burger was much spice than my wife's and we ordered same so I think I got someone else's.

My wife and I ate here on a late rainy afternoon. She had a dirty Martini, which she loved. I had a couple Magners ciders which were nice, cold, and delicious. We shared the fried pickles (good) and the 3 irish cheddar burger. It was fantastic. Cooked perfectly rare, well seasoned. I loved that you could tell it was quality ground beef and, dare I say, hand formed patty. Our experience was a pleasant one. Will definitely be back.

We found this place, somewhat ironically, through a positive review from the St Pete Times as we found ourselves without the kids and wanted to try someplace a bit different - weren't in the mood for Ocean Prime type of night, and the more we thought about options we landed on a search for really good food - and a more casual atmosphere and not one of our regulars. The night was a beautiful one - screw you Men's Health and the saddest city - gentle breeze, smell of saltwater in the air, minutes from the house. So, there are a few things to consider about this place. Parking was a bit of a challenge. It was Saturday night, we had to make a few circles around the block and squeezed into a spot. Good sign, at least, but there didn't seem to be enough parking. The atmosphere of this place is more of a daiquiri deck than irish pub. there was a guy with a guitar outside, which is kind of the parking lot. Nobody sitting outside. the entire place is open air, but again facing the parking lot. We sat a a high top, the SEC game was finishing up and there are plenty of TV's. Probably the biggest complaint was the service, but not from an attitude standpoint. It just took quite a while for us to get the menus, and then again to order. We read about the burgers and the menu didn't disappoint. They have plenty of 'specialty burgers' which covered the gamut - traditional, blue cheese, mediterranean, bbq, even tuna burgers. Great selection of beers as well, plus a full bar - which is nice. My wife and I both opted to build our own. I picked mine - wagyu beef, carmelized onions, irish cheddar, and a few other options that are my faves. Medium rare. My wife wanted a Thai themed burger, so she asked the chef's to create one for her. The waitress was very helpful and accommodating once we started to order, and the service from ordering to the end was just right. I think not having a hostess was really to blame for our initial service delay. The burgers were really, really good. I have had Kobe, buffalo, lamb, etc and the wagyu beef was very tasty. It didn't seem as strong as a buffalo burger, but very rich and tender. the Thai burger they created for my wife was a big hit. the perfect combo of spice and flavor. the sweet potato fries were good, made better by the mango aioli sauce for dipping. It was a little messy, but to me that is the way a really good burger should be. They offer a lot of optional high-end toppings (foie gras, for example), but at some point I think you could create a weird experience when you combine the atmosphere and vibe of the place with anything too stuffy or high end. Remember, it is billed as a pub. I had a cider on draught, my wife opted for a bourbon/coke. all good. We were more than pleased, overall. We wanted really good food, so the atmosphere and view of the parking lot didn't bother us. I could see bringing the kids there, plenty of noise and distractions, but I would imagine the crowd changes as it gets later on weekends. pricing was in line with the quality of the food. Our burgers were about $15 but that was due to the beef we selected. The prime burgers were $7 or so. I do think the place needs to work on figuring out its identity a bit. I didn't see anything that looked like an Irish pub, and the food - thankfully - wasn't an Irish pub or at least like the ones I have eaten at in the UK. Once they figure that out a bit more, I would rate it higher. The food is at least 4-stars based on my visit.

We visited Paddy's because we had a Groupon. I had the build a burger with Irish porter cheese, red onion jam, and sprouts. My burger was juicy and delicious. My bf had a Swiss cheeseburger and enjoyed his as well. One critique on the cheese is to charge less for it. They charge $1 for the cheese so I expected it would be a lot of cheese when it was just a slice. Still good and who needs the excess, but a dollar seemed out of line for the portion. We each had sweet potato fries instead of chips for a $1.50 upcharge and they were limp and cold. I didn't care for them at all. Square One Burger's fries are much better but we were on the beach and not in Tampa. The service was friendly and our food was served promptly. Paddy's has a small parking lot so try parking down the side street if the lot is full. In reference to a previous review, I checked the beer list which did have the prices and a Cigar City Madura was $4.50 and a Guiness on draft was $5.50. I thought they were fair prices for beer. We did think they shouldn't charge for the fries but otherwise the place was good and we will come back. Loud Irish heavy metal rock played overhead alternating with traditional Irish folk songs so if you were starting to fall asleep you can expect to get a jolt every other song. There was an acoustic guitar person setting up when we were leaving. I would definitely go back again and time it so we could listen to the live music. Overall a nice vibe in the place and a very good burger. We did not experience any of the negative comments posted in the other reviews so I had to give this place a thorough write up.

DON'T GO THERE! I was looking for a good place for a beer and a burger while watching the FSU game so I went to the website to check this place out. The site looks like it was put together on an old typewriter, the links don't work, the menu is a typed list rather than pdf and there were stock photos linked as though they were pictures of the restaurant. I read some reviews, many talking about mediocre or inattentive service so I wrote an email to the owner about the poor website design and that I had decided to pass on going for the game (several reviews said they show only Euro sports) I received an almost immediate email response from John Hargrave who claims to be trying to expand the concept. His reply was "Thanks for not coming" Amazing! Don't worry Mr. Hargrave, I won't. And I will tell my friends to stay away too.

The first review was clearly written by the owner. This place used to be a different burger joint but has since changed owners and its name, so we thought we would give it another chance after a disastrous experience last time. Big mistake. Hard to imagine how it could get worse, but it has. The waitresses are indeed very nice, but that's the only thing getting this place a star. Service is *extremely slow* and they were completely out of fries (problematic for a burger place) which, I should mention, do not come with the burgers. The cost for a side of about 10 onion rings was $7+. I made the mistake of ordering a beer from the beer list (which had no prices) and ended up paying $8 a piece for two. The burgers were not great, and came with stale chips. We were given no condiments, silverware, or napkins, and they said they were even running low on cups. They definitely mean well, but sadly the place is totally disorganized and patrons at several tables around us were grumbling: "This place won't be here in three months." Stay away.
